Morning Sickness -  hints for remedies

 

Ginger This can help all kinds of sickness including travel sickness.  It is safe to eat ginger during pregnancy, and there are quite a few different types that you might like.  Crystalised ginger and ginger snack bars are usually found in the health food section of the supermarket.  Some mums report that the Ginger used in Asian particularly Japanese cooking (thin slices) are good.  Ginger biscuits (Annas ginger thins) are also great.  Try and experiment with the best one to suit you.
Biccies in Bed Before getting out of bed - some dry biscuits (savoy, sayo etc) are often a help.  Get your partner to make a hot cup of tea and some toast.  Some readers have said that hot toast with cold tomato slices with lots of salt and pepper does it for them.
Little and lots Small frequent meals and snack can help
Smells Now is not the time to feed the dog!  get your partner to feed animals and do some of the cooking for a while.

Vegemite yes Australia's answer to everything... Vegemite is a great source of Vitamin B and is often quite good for morning sickness
Travel bands Sea sickness bands (the magnetic type) have had some success.

Rest Yep... rest and be pampered.. save your energy

Remember if you become dehydrated - loss of skin tome, constant thirst and a really yellowy coloured urine see you Doctor straight away  - you may need medical help to get you back on your feet.  Don't ignored it get help!
