But you need time with your wife and baby, and they need you. What's more, your wife is bound to resent it if you're toiling away even on weekends. Don't escape your fatherly duties through work. Ramble outdoors with baby in a front-style pack and see the world anew.

Buy Dad gear. Like any sport, parenting requires you to be outfitted. Would you step onto a cricket pitch without a bat and ball?  So get a backpack, a front pack, a baby jogger, or a baby bike trailer. You and baby will make a winning team.
